Heinz baked bean rounders

does anybody remember hienz baked bean rounders i loved them but cant get them these days. (baked beans wrapped in sausage meat then breadcrumbs. Can you still get them?

sort of a scotch egg with beans in the middle instead of an egg ?

 

I've never heard of them but I wouldn't think they'd be difficult to make by adapting a standard scotch egg recipe if you can't find any, the first attempts might be a bit messy though

 

my other half says try Icelands, farmfoods and places that do frozen food as OH memory says they were frozen

 

can't find 'em on the heinz site though so I doubt you'll find any

I remember them they were great, up here in Newcastle we called them Beanies. Think people got burnt by the extreamly hot beans in the centre so they were proberly deamed unsafe.

I used to eat 3 of these with chips every dinner time. Baked beans, wrapped in sausage meat, fried in breadcrumbs. We need a comeback into chip shops. 

Last time I had them would have been the late eighties, early nineties
