The charity efforts and achievements of former radio presenter Dave Kilner are set to live on.

A star-studded line-up of entertainment stars and bands linked to Sheffield will play a unique concert next year not only as a tribute to Dave, who died a few weeks ago, but to launch a new charity to help local, disadvantaged children.

Acts confirmed so far include:

• Frontmen Joe Elliott and Rick Savage from legendary rock group Def Leppard

• ‘Is the Way to Amirillo’ star Tony Christie whose recent Made in Sheffield album was an outstanding critical success

• From television singer/comedian Steve Womack

• Impressionist Jon Culshaw
