Plain Talker
Davy's was where WH Smiths is now. In my first job as office junior aged 15 at Sheffield Chamber of Commerce (in cutlers hall) I was once sent in there for sandwiches and standing in delicassen queue was Dave Berry:D 1966 in case you're wondering There was a second Davy's, wasn't there, denlin? On the corner of Castle Street where the amusement arcade is, below the Cannon pub? I remember going in there as a small child with my mother. (I also remembe going in the Davy's on Fargate, and the Golden Egg, higher up, where River Island clothes shop is now)
