Guest sibon
Didn't Gregory and Dench have a big Peugeot Garage there? The Hornblower was definitely there, with me inside it for quite a lot of the time:)
rubydazzler
On the road that runs parrallel to Fitzwilliam Street, ( can't remember the name) I remember houses and a fish and chip shop that opened at lunchtimes.Cavendish Street? Notre Dame High School was on that street as well. ETA: I just lifted this off the Picture Sheffield site for Fitzwilliam Street and there's one of the Raven from this era as well. http://www.picturesheffield.com/cgi-bin/picturesheffield.pl?_cgifunction=form&_layout=picturesheffield&keyval=sheff.refno=s10521
Lady Star
I recall a bar called Tin Pan Alley and a car dealership being there when I moved to Sheffield about 13 years ago... The bar was pretty good as I remember... The car dealership closed not long after I got here and the showroom area was used as a pound type shop for quite some time until it was bulldozed...
