xfox3x
Does anyone have any information on Fulwood House that is now part of Sheffield Primary Care Trust? I can't find anything on the web, but someone has told me that they think it used to belong to a bishop. I work in the tower block next door, but have been in a few rooms in the old building and think it's beautiful.
snout
there is a nice book "Fulwood and the Mayfield Valley" by Roger Redfern that will give you a good start. According to the book work began in 1911 and it was for the Wilson family, Sheffield snuff makers. It was bought by the Sheffield Regional Hospital Board about 1948

mike142sl
I believe it may have been used as a WW1 hospital, along with many schools and other large buildings at the time.
