absynthfairy
I went to scarborough today. It took 3 hours to get there. It rained A LOT. We had a drink and came home again. However -I saw an abormally large seagull - highlight of the day!
Hels
I like Scarborough, we used to go there for 2 weeks every August when we were kids. Marine Drive when there's a high tide - bit scarey! It's got it's fair share of 'grotty' places though. When we were kids the fish market was still thriving and the trawlers were busy ... we'd get up early and have a drink at the Harbour cafe then go back to the Guest House for breakfast. Those were the days ... These days I prefer Whitby, more atmosphere and there's some great pubs etc. Try 'Green's' near the bridge for a really decent meal. Or the White Horse and Griffin for a lovely meal and b&b.
Duffer
Scarborough is quality. We go there and have a day sesh and then back to hotel for a change and out to the 1 nightclub there. Its well cheesy but a great laugh. The Hotel we stay in is run by a Brazilian mother and daughter, but thats a different thread all together P.S The seagulls drive you CRAZY if youre not used to the racket they make in the morning.
