I've got a terrible memory for anyone, but also... I only had a mag mount on a biscuit tin, & could only get as far as Shirecliffe, from Hillsborough, so didn't know very many people anyway. Plus, I used to get terrible bleedover from the bloke with the hot to trot system on the next road to me..... eeeeek!

Takes me back a while , I was on as Stargazer , went to the cb club at the big tree for a while , lived norfolk park area back then not far from Norfolk Star , Blue Goose was working down in London last I heard but that was years ago. Started in the original AM CB days and moved on to being a radio ham a couple of years after CB was legalised

Anyone remember Doctor's Dilemma? He once gave me, my then wife (Kiki Dee) and Klansman (Woodie) a lift to the breakers club at the Woodburn. During the journey he decided to look in the glove compartment and nearly crashed the car. He then cut up a few cars on a roundabout and pulled out in front of someone at a junction.

 

We arranged alternative transport back home.

I was C.B.er back in the early days of 1980-82. Handle was Excaliber used to hang out with Duracell, Major Tom and knew Sugar'n'Spice down on Abbeydale road.

Used to go to Dore and Totley Breakers club and the club at Big Tree, Woodseats.
