hillsbro
anyone know were latimer street was early 1900 in sheffield i think around the old infirmary but not sure Yes - it was just higher up the hill in the Netherhorpe area. Here are maps of 1914 and 1963 showing its location between Bramwell Street and Weston Street (both of which remain).

hillsbro
hi hillbro were do get maps from bought some of internet but not brilliantApart from the Godfrey Edition reprints of old large-scale Ordnance Survey maps, detailed street maps are not easy to find. I bought my 1914 map at a junk fair many years ago, and I got the 1963 one when it was new. The Local Studies Library of course has a good selection of maps.
