Vic Dickins
Back in the sixties, actually the early sixties, there was a young poet, ROGER DICKINS LINDLEY. He was known to some by the nickname 'Vic' and was always around the Rotherham folk clubs, generally accompanied by a young lady going under the name 'Twill'. I remember him reading some of his works at a folk club in Westgate, Rotherham and at a gathering of students and staff from Rotherham Art School. If anyone knows what happened to him or has any of his poems I would really like to hear from them. I was recently in a conversation via the net with a friend in Miami and she mentioned his name, so if the people of the U.S know of him someone in the Sheffield/Rotherham area should.
