This weekend sees the return to Shuffle of one of the honorary members of the Swedish House Mafia. LAIDBACK LUKE absolutely ripped the place to bits last time, and we’ve waited and waited for a return date to come free…… it’s finally here, and we’re so excited we could pop. This will be massive (again) Despite originally coming from Holland, Luke has quickly become one of the key figures in the posse known as the Swedish House Mafia. Alongside Angello, Ingrosso and Prydz, the nation has become known for it's huge main room anthems, and Luke has been responsible for his fair share. His name may be Laidback but his style most certainly isn’t, he produces and DJs a tougher commercial edged techno sound and his sets run through a whole host of banging techy numbers, epic house flavours and full on heads down techno moments. He’s has major skills behind both the production desk and DJ decks, and this has been turned into the respect and admiration of thousands of clubbers worldwide. Well worth attending to see what all the fuss is about, he’s hot stuff indeed. Over in the Live room it’s FLOORFILLERS bringing its Saturday night magic into the venue for more weekend escapism. Chris Bibby having played at some of the UK's major nights drops in his unflinching acumen to ensure the floors are whipped into a frenzy throughout the evening. At Shuffle he will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now: Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the Prodigy. He's presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and now he comes back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
