maxofe Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 hi there good folks.... i have just been going thro' some of my late fathers things and found some items relating to laycocks, why he had them i cant imagine, but i suspect they may have come into our shop (just military) along with other things. i dont want them, but there may be someone out there who might like them? anyway, heres what there is: 3, 8X10 b/w photos, both dated 1937, machine shop and foundry dept, the 3rd is not labled. a letter to mr. g n south dated 1983 ( 13 struan road) thanking him for 46 yrs service, from the managing director, g a jones. 1 inter-departmental communication, dated 1980. a laycock 25 club annual dinner programme dated 1962. lots of paper clippings from the 80's-90's relating to laycocks, job losses etc... quite interesting to the right person, sadly not to me but i cannot bare to throw anything away (just like my late father, lol) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
