The best advice I can give you is if the holiday you found is an actual 'Thompson' holiay for example but you have seen it in Thomas Cook, If you go to Thompson direct then can always give you the best price on there own holiday. bigwind Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 decided to take my missus on a caribbean cruise this year for our wedding anniversary, got a price from a well known cruise specialist, took it to 1 particular travel agent said they could match but not beat it, took it to another agent who knocked £500 off the original price, took that price to yet another travel agent asked them if they could beat it ,they in turn knocked another £500 off the price and threw in £150 on board credit. so just by being cheeky and asking the question got a grand knocked off the original cost of the cruise Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wrote down the prices I found and took it Thomas cook they where happy to beat the prices.
