Buffers
Harmer Lane in what is now Pond Street bus station used to be a street of old terraced houses and courts. According to the 19th century census returns, there used to be a pub there called The Prince of Wales. Anyone know about this old pub - when it was demolished etc? A picture would be great

A picture would be great Hi Buffers, I submitted your question to Sheffieldhistory.co.uk, but as yet members on SH have no known record (but are looking) of a Prince of Wales PH on Harmer Lane. However there was once a Prince of Wales on Sycamore St, Sycamore St (long gone) joined Flat Street opposite the GPO's sorting office. m&p
