mijco Posted February 27, 2010 Share Posted February 27, 2010 playing snooker in hartley last nite an we were talking about black swan ,an 1 of lads said there was a snooker club or hall above the swan 7 or 8 years ago,i rememer there was a gym of sorts about then but do slightly remember a snooker place upstairs in late 80s early 90s i know they turned merry england into a snooker room or pool room at a similar time does anybody know better ,jim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pauldavies Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 Hi, Barry was a very good friend of mine also, I can confirm that he didn't manage the club, that was another good friend Peter Barnes who eventually bought the club from an ex pro snooker player called michael waterson. The same Mike Waterson who basically started snooker off with the world chamionships at the crucible etc He also owned a club on west street sheffield. is Barry still alive?
