Tabor
Hello all As a recently widowed person who now finds himself living alone, are there any others in my situation with any tips or advice on how to re-start and maintain their 'new' lives? Tabor
Hello Woggle, Yep! I do have hobbies and interests, they help! - it would be nice to contact others who share my interests, but it often seems difficult approaching folks being an older 'single' person. - I seem to have lost my social skills along with my late wife. sTaGeWaLkEr
Stick in there kidda! Getting yourself on a chat forum like this is a good start. Once you've learnt to ignore the numpties, there are some lovely people around here.

hennypenny
Hi Tabor, did you ever find any support groups in Sheffield? I am now in the same situation except with a child still living at home, and I would love to meet with others who understand the specific problems that come with being widowed. rubydazzler
Doesn't Cruse exist anymore, or Gingerbread if you have kids still at home?
