No not at all - I'm not aware that he had his nose in the trough, although I do wonder if people are fully aware of Churchill's more dubious views. For example, he was an advocate on using poisonous gas against what he described as 'uncivilised tribes'. He was also all in favour of using the army to shoot strikers. I know we have to see these issues in the context of the time, but the more enlightened politicians of that time were somewhat shocked by aspects of Churchill's views.
