Is there a calendar on here?

I have some friends visiting Sheffield on Saturday and want to go out somewhere - is there anything on? What club nights etc?

Where's the best place to go for a nice meal, but not too pricey?

Cheers

Earl Jam!

The Festival takes place on Lowfield Park at the back of The Earl, Queens Road.

Two DJ tents with the likes of Spannered, Transmission, Soul Food, Two Left Feet and Wasted providing the tunes.

You can expect to hear a wide selection of music from Northern Soul, Breaks, Dub, Techno, Drum and Bass, Disco and pretty much everything else.

For people who want to get away from the pounding noise of DJ's there will be acoustic acts out in The Earls newly refurbished beer garden from 2 pm- 8 pm and hopefully a BBQ.

The band stage which is being organised by Car Crash Music, Spannered and Transmission have put together one of the finest bills to be seen in Sheffield this year. All the acts have played The Earl and have been a big part in getting the venue regarded as one of the best music venues in Sheffield.

The running order at the moment ( these things have a habit of changing) is :-

12.45 - 1.15 Tommy Binks and the Alcoholics.

1.30 - 2.00 Taste of Shotgun.

2.15 - 2.45 Fury of The Headteachers.

3.00 - 3.30 Smokers Die Younger.

3.45 - 4.15 Nine More Lies.

4.30 - 5.00 Monkey Swallows the Universe.

5.15 - 5.45 Ritalin.

6.00 - 6.30 Vasquez.

6.45 - 7.15 Mothership.

7.30 - 8.00 Rumpus.

So a recap.
