There'll probably be something a little familiar about the component parts of WagonWheel Presents... on Thursday March 25th, yet as you'd expect everything will be just a little bit different too. Following a recent solo spot from frontman Andy Whitehouse, we'll have an expanded line up of The Silver Darlings. From Leeds we have The Administrators, two thirds of whom you may recognise from Loudmouth Soup and the long gone days of Americana Night @ UTB back in 2007. Finally opening the show we have Mat Wale, this time joining us without The Rackets. What you can be sure of is, it will all come together to offer you another night of great live music for just £3. Doors open 8pm.

***THE SILVER DARLINGS***

The Silver Darlings are a loose collective of musicians based around the duo of Andy Whitehouse (guitar/vocals) and Mike Howe (accordian). Roots music for stubborn romantics and hopeless optimists. Following Andy's last minute stand in spot in February, we're looking forward to welcoming a fuller compliment of The Silver Darlings. The band are currently preparing to start work on their debut album.

***THE ADMINISTRATORS***

Conceived by Ben Hall and Marv Riley, two survivors of the Loudmouth Soup massacre, and aided and abetted by the irrepressible Shaun Naylor (the mandolin sharp-shooter from Feelies Inc), arrive the Administrators. Having recently opened for Glasgow folk troubadour Alasdair Roberts and previously supported the likes of King Creosote, James Yorkston, Jeff Klein, the Handsome Family and many others Ben has a admirable talent of seeing his favourite artists for free. Late as always and slightly worse for wear and tear, they have got their heads up and intend to have you drinking, fighting and then sleeping in the hay by sunset.

***MAT WALE***

Mat Wale has been writing, producing and recording with various band projects since 2004. His current output includes the albums 'Head aches, Heartbreaks and Drink problems', '17' and 'Les Album Arrogante' (with Arrogant Whale) plus a handfull of EP's including 'The Wilderness and Back Home Again', 'Viva Las Misery', 'God Hates Us All' and most recently The 'All Time Space Cadet' EP. He also produced the 'Medieval Death Folk' EP for Mexican Kids At Home which remains to this day their definative work. His long term band 'The Rackets' formed in late 2006 and despite drastic line-up changes is still going strong, playing regular shows in and around Sheffield with their brand of alt-country influenced by the likes of Ryan Adams and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.

In 2009 Mat provided the soundtrack for Welsh indie film 'Big Font, Large Spacing'. Following on from his appearance with The Rackets on one of our nights last year, tonight he plays a solo show in support of new EP 'Long Cold Lonely Winter'.
