thomo0811 Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 Alvarez Kings were sceduled to play a SXSW send-off party on Saturday 13th March at The Big White Tent for St Patricks day. However, due to council restrictions the event has to be moved back a week and the lads can't play it. So the venue has changed to the opening night of a brand new bar in Sheffield. Formally known as City Bar situated on the corner across from Casbah and John Lewis, the lads will play Henrys. A great intimate atmosphere and loads of friends lined up to keep you entertained throughout the night. Firstly, the best male solo artist Steel City has to offer - Dan Williamson - will be playing live at 9pm. Alvarez Kings will perform at 10.30pm. Spinning the tunes from 8pm-1am are infamous DJs Lipstick Traces. This is going to be a bit special with a great atmosphere and its all for free!
