Gordon Brown : liar liar pants on fire

Recommended Posts

Yesterday Gordon told the Chilcott enquiry that he gave the army everything that they wanted for the Iraq War.

... within hours the defence chiefs came out to say he was lying.

He said that he was at the heart of Blair's Government.

.... but he also said that he knew nothing about any important decisions.

It was a shameful performance. I listened to most of it and frankly it was just a party political broadcast with almost no straight answers to the panel who had the investigative prowess of a damp flannel.

What was obvious though is that he has an encyclopaedic knowledge of everything that he wants us to know but can't remember anything that he wouldn't want us to know. Such a selective amnesia cannot convey any trust in him, or he has other issues going on in his head. Either way he's not fit to lead.

Gordon brown the biggest liar in british politics that's why he is fit to lead.

It turns out that his 'a million in, a million out' comment to Gillian Duffy was another lie:

There are nearly 850,000 British born people living in Spain and France alone.

Gordon Brown's figures seem to be about right.

If Browns figures were correct, net migration would be almost nil, but that’s not the case is it, therefore Brown lied yet again.

OK, well do tell how these figures show a million in and a million out, therefore zero net migration to the UK.

The daily Mail figures show there are 5.5 million Brits abroad just under 10% of the current Uk population. I assume there are similar numbers of people born abroad in the UK, making it fairly even hence the equivalence Gordon Brown refers to.

Unless the UK nationals are illegal immigrants in France and Spain, the ONS figures disagree. They show net migration on 200,000+ per year to the UK.

As always with Labour, the figures are somewhat grey and no hard evidence is given to back them up. Do the 5.5 million outside of the UK count those in Ireland by any chance? or those with dual nationality?

The fact remains, immigration to the UK is evident everywhere and the ONS has figures that backup peoples worries. Only people like you who seem to have a vested interest in supporting such high levels of immigration would agree with Brown and his lies.

One other thing. Given the amount of anti-Daily Mail posts you have made, calling into question that particular news papers motives and quality in reporting. I would have thought you would refrain from using the Daily mail as a reference to argue a point.

You can’t have it both ways you know.
