f0rd
But that doesn't really answer the question. Substitute Brazil nuts if you like for peanuts. Still not a nut.

harvey19
Again... not a nut. I give in and am completely humiliated. Why are pistachio nuts so expensive ?
f0rd
I give in and am completely humiliated. Why are pistachio nuts so expensive ? Probably because they take over 15 years to grow before they become economically viable, not withstanding their susceptibility to disease? Did you even have a look for an answer on google? Did you even have a look for an answer on google? I only posed the question as a bit of devilment after the earlier posts regarding nuts and to show how silly this thread is getting. Thankyou for your answer.
harvey19
Because it costs money to educate people who cannot spell pistachio nuts, and peanuts are not really nuts anyhow; they're legumes. Talking of spelling why do you spell Jesus as Jeebus and Bible as Babble ?
Bloomdido
Talking of spelling why do you spell Jesus as Jeebus and Bible as Babble ? Probably for a similar reason to me using the words 'catherlic' and 'poap'.
