God is not an insurance package, neither is he a comfort blanket, or a crutch. People have it wrong. The emphasis in the Bible is that we are responsible and are held responsible for our own actions.

You can still follow Jesus without taking the idiotic position of continuing to believe the biblical account of creation to be a representation of reality... It isn't even close to being so... In fact you can still follow Jesus without believing in any of the supernatural Junk the bible contains... Just ask Thomas Jefferson...

Science is confirming the Bible regarding the creation account, with each day being a geological era. I am making new discoveries about the Bible which have strengthened my faith and I believe God revealed himself to us through Jesus Christ.
