Today's news includes:

Nudie airport scanner abuse

Police tell internet cafe owners to spy on customers

Exploding boobies and bums

I don't care.

I want my life to be my life. I'll accept the 'threats' of Muslim takeover or 747's dropping out of the sky onto a puppy school. I don't want intrusion, interference, monitoring, restriction, mistrust, paranoia, suspicion of me and my neighbour.

How about you? Time for a change?

The considered response to this, and, in fact, every Health & Safety edict as well, should be :

Exactly how much safer does it make me ? And what am I sacrificing to achieve that ?

As far as those humiliating airport scanners go, they do not pass that test, not by a million miles.

And what in actuality are you sacrificing?

It rather looks like the terrorists have won hands down doesn't it?
