The brilliant, infectious indie poppers Thomas Tantrum are set to play in the Raynor Lounge, Sheffield Union on April 23rd.

Here is what the musical press have to say about the band:

NME- 'A rare example of genuine dancable twee indie disco-pop'

The Times- 'An art rock party band. All wit and fizz here'

The Guardian- A hot and sweaty hisy-fit, both guileless and knowing, frustrating and charming'

The Fly- 'Clattering guitar pop racket'

In case we need to say any more, Lily Allen is considered one of Thomas Tantrum's most famous fans. The band gained greater exposure in 2008 after Allen placed them in the "Top Friends" section of her MySpace page.

The band have toured with the likes of The Futureheads, Glasvegas and Dirty Pretty Things.

They've created top singles such as 'Work It' as well as the amazingly catchy track 'Shake It, Shake It' featured on a T-Mobile advert recently, check it out here and you'll be hooked!-
