Mainly for a change but I chose Sheffield because my friend from 'back home' lived up here so at least I knew someone, but after a year she moved to Bakewell and has now moved 'back home'! At the moment all I seem to do is work:( which is quite boring for a 25 year old! I am registered on www. citysocialising. com which arranges different things to do. Only downside is you have to pay to go on some of the socials and you have to pay to read your messages (think you get your first 5 messages free). It is a good way to meet people though. I also found difficult to meet people here, since I am a bit shy and English is not my first language. Both bowling and coffe sounds good to me!!
