I never went to Sharrow Lane school but I lived on Fentonville Street for a while in the 1970s, right next door to Charlie Folger.

My eldest daughter went to the school around then.

A lot quieter, no Hallam University so no student houses, just normal people living normal lives, however it’s is a confusing place geographically, as it is nearly in Nether Edge, Ecclesall and Abbeydale.
