falpere
Cornwall...fab beaches, plenty of little villages to visit etc...there's a nice campsite near Padstow, sorry don't know the name of it. Seconded! Treyarnon bay near Padstow is a cracking place. The beaches around there have to be some of the best in the World!! Great for surfing, late night beach barbies etc... Get the weather and it's like being abroad.
KezzaSheff
Get on the megabus to London for ten pound return, sometimes it can even be free depending on how advanced you book.
HayleyJayne
St Andrews... amazing beach, lovley shops, ten mins drive to dundee and you could even stop off for a day trip in glasgow or edinburgh on the way up/down as they are both on the way (the best route is up the M6 to glasgow, then accross to edinurgh accross the Forth Road Bridge - its about 20 miles north from there and takes 5 hours from Sheffield). My OH's parents have a caravan at Craigtoun Meadows - they dont rent theirs out but you can hire one or camp... either or!! There are lots of walks up there and its about a 40 min stroll into the tiny city centre!
GrannyGranny
North Wales, not Rhyl etc but further along on the LLeyn (sp?) Peninsula. Anywhere around Abersoch, Nefyn, Aberderon is fantastic and also has great beaches.
