sccsux
It is about time this party withdrew! Can they actually stand (as a political party) as their constitution is still illegal?
Stormy
They can stand but membership applications have been stopped by the courts. Although I thought they had changed it again so it was legal now?
sccsux
Although I thought they had changed it again so it was legal now? It was declared illegal, they went and changed it, and that too, was/is illegal (3rd time liucky?).

You think they'd just bite the bullet and change it once and for all
Streamline
I used to communicate with various far right parties using a pseudonym and a PO Box and they are great fun. Get two of them in a room and within 30 minutes you'll have a split, usually a violent one. They make the Peoples Front of Judea seem like a normal political party. What do you do these days, hitting BNP members over the head with claw hammers or how about chucking darts at them? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8yZ63rX26Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAQhoNCsmTs

Not sure about the second one, but it is a BNP video after all!
Wildcat
Hello Streamline me ol mate, nice to see you back-there must be an election looming Incidentally, nobody condones anyone being assaulted whilst going about their legal business, someone was arrested in the first incident. Not sure about the second one, but it is a BNP video after all! Someone was arrested in the first incident, but no charges were brought against them. As I said at the time despite the media reports it and the arrest the evidence from far right sources and from people on the ground was that the attack never happened as described and that the injury in the photo was likely to either be theatrical blood or self inflicted. In the second case I think the dart incident has only been noticed in the last few months, about a year after the event. The motion of the person looks suspicious but he could have been throwing a pen or paper airoplane or anything really. If it was a dart then he should be prosecuted, but so long after the event with no one injured and no offensive weapon it would be impossible to bring a case. Your petard is hanging over there in the corner next to the gun that only fires bullets at feet. >>>
TeaFan
lol and the legal bill keeps rising. You think they'd just bite the bullet and change it once and for all Problem is they're a racist party. Obviously, otherwise their membership policy wouldn't even be an issue. They're trying to make it lawful in the most racist way they can get away with. They tell voters they're not racist, but when told to stop having a racist membership policy they can't manage it. Funny, that.
Wildcat
They can stand but membership applications have been stopped by the courts. Although I thought they had changed it again so it was legal now? Yes, Nick Griffin used his power as dictator of the party to change the constitution. He can change the constitution as he likes making claims the party is democratic, rather obviously flawed.
