But i can. If the queen had turned around to labour and said bugger off, then the entire economic crash would have been averted, or at least delayed long enough for a government to save for a rainy day.

Of course the 1B figure is in point of fact grosely underestimated but its hard to quantify what the net income to the state is derived from the royal family, but its a safe guess that's its much more than the 1B quoted.
