Bowl Food for Wedding Reception?

Has anybody had bowl food caterers for their wedding reception?

I really like the idea of having no seating plan but still providing quality food for the wedding breakfast.

 

If anybody has been to a wedding with bowl food I'd like to hear your opinions.

 

Also, can anybody suggest a venue that would suit this type of meal?

I would suggest any venue letting in outside caterers, or you could even speak to the venue to see if they could accommodate this.

 

I would picture bowl food in a setting like the millennium galleries or even in a marquee wedding somewhere with a beautiful outdoor space.

I dont think many people have heard of it just yet, although my sources tell its getting very popular in London

CocoCatering have done catering for weddings at Hargate Hall and I can vouch for their quality. And as a venue, yes bowl food works well.
