KamalJoe
People don't realize that they are wasting time so it would be called time well spent. Changing priorities makes you regret or be happy about it.
40summat
Spent many hours "kicking around, on a piece of ground, in my home town" But to answer the question. Yes far to much of my life is spent thinking i could be doing more, or better things with it. Regrets, i have a few.... you've set me off now. Downsunder
Spent many hours "kicking around, on a piece of ground, in my home town" As you approach the twilight years and your contemporaries begin to fade into oblivion, you begin to realise how much time you might not have left and time suddenly becomes precious. So now I find myself racing around trying to get all that stuff finished that I've been trying to get finished for the last 25 years! But one line in a post by 40Summat helped me realise . . . those hours "kicking around on a piece of ground" are what life is all about and although I can't bring those times back or even replicate them, I might just slow down occasionally to reminisce and savour those precious moments. I might even live longer.
