Anyone raised in broomhall in 50's /60's?

Recommended Posts

Hiya, not been registered on Forum long. I'm particularly interested in meeting anyone who lived in the Broomhall area in the 50's or 60's, especially Broomhall street itself. I lived in between both Rickshaws at number 12 which was a big ex-boarding house in its heyday, housing artistes appearing at the local theatres of its day. I later returned to live on the Broomhall flats and also worked on them as a general labourer but not for long because the whole site was a deathtrap!
