Dempseys Bar and Club in the city centre is building on its success by using the venue for theatre productions. The Hereford Street venue has already staged successful productions of Terry Eagleton's Saint Oscar and Joe Orton's Funeral Games. The plays take place in the club area not normally open to the public until late evening. This upcoming project of Shelagh Delaney's A Taste of Honey performed by Ribcage Productions intends to knock another one out of the park! The play itself focus on the sympathetic portrayal of a young working-class heroine and will surely be a fantastic night out. Tickets are £7/£5 concessions.
