Miss M
actually, im gonna stick my neck out here and say that it was purpose built for him. My ex bf was best mates with one of the band members' sons and he once told me bout it when we drove past. Although could be ssssoooo wrong but I'm kinda sure he had it built for him... hodgepodge
I have read that it is the gate lodge to ~The Towers- a gothic house further up the drive which was built in 1896 for the then joint owner and editor of the Sheffield Telegraph...its rather attractive isn't it? Angilaruk
I agree with Hodgepodge, they are entirely correct (sound posh don't I LOL) It was up for sale a year or so ago and I believe it is listed too. I have always called it the "fairy House" as it seems to resemble a fairytale castle to me
shinyhappy68
I love this building, reminds me of long summer walks and Wyming Brook as a kid. It was always Rapunzell's Castle to me.

six45ive
It isn't and it never was owned by him. That's one thing I definitely knew Irene. I think Miss M was being a little mischievous. Anyway, thanks for the info guys, I've titled the photo.
