spinac
Cheers, ash & itosan! Glad I'm making sense now ... however, I don't want to discourage anyone from having a bit of fun in any forum, just want to make sure folks don't put all their faith in one method of finding a date ... Remember when dating was easy? Good! I don't either! From a lot of the stuff I read ATTRACTING someone to you, by being yourself, pursuing your interests and maintaining a circle of friends is the best way to meet a partner. Which is more appealing ... 1. I'm 45, a sad old geek with loads of time on my hands. I like to read and go swimming and walk my dog. I go bowling alone and would love to meet a tall blonde with a great sense of humour. Won't someone take pity on me please .... have you seen MySpace ... 2. For a short time only vacancy for the position of GF exists. Can introduce you to a great set of people if you like new adventures and travel. I love the Edinburgh Festival more and more each year, go skiing when I can. I have been paragliding in the Alps, hang-gliding in California and white water rafting on the Zambeezi but my adrenaline junkie days are mostly behind me now, instead prefering to pursue my creative side in photography and writing. I believe everyone should get out more. The few who do are the envy of the many who only watch
blip
Anyone who wants a date and is nervous about the conventional chatting up in the pub/club/event sort of thing should get themselves on one of the specialised dating sites. I have particularly good experience of Udate.com, and I know Match.com is good. Don't waste your time thinking about it, DO IT!
