Fantasy Island cash machines now charge

Recommended Posts

Yes. If the supermarkets and banks can then everyone else can do it for free. But some don't and I would suggest people do not use those that charge.

Banks don't do it for free in the end......for the companies that place these machines it is their busines. It's what their income is made of..would you work for nothing?

Well in the end no-one does anything for free. It's all about money. The companies that place these machines obviously get paid somewhere along the line otherwise they would not fit them, but charging a customer for the right to access money to spend in an establishment that provides the service is pretty wrong.

We'll have to disagree... :)

Why is it? FI is a business, they want you to spend money and this will be another useful revenue stream, I'm amazed they haven't done it before.

Why did the high street banks (most of them) stop charging people for using cash machines? Just out of curiosity. And FI would recoup any costs incurred from having a cash machine from the money they make off the punters. All you do is hike up the prices of the rides to cover (not that the cost of going on these rides is not sky high already).

You're missing the point. FI is not your friend. They're a money making machine

My only point is that charging people to draw out money to spend in your premises (or on your rides) is wrong in my opinion.
While you may be right you don't run fanny island. If you go to pubs, shops, casino's and nightclubs they charge to withdraw cash all FI are doing is what everyone else is doing
