gabby
Have you tried Renault Forums? http://www.renaultforums.co.uk
UnkleBob
follow the air filter trunking. there'll be a section with a jubilee clip near the accelerator springs. Look in there. It's just a flappy valve that opens and closes with the throttle. Have you done this before?
littlebasher
There will be a black cylindrical object attached to the throttle body like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Idle-control-valve-Clio-Megane-Laguna-Scenic-Traffic_W0QQitemZ160389084890QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2557ef36da To be honest though, i've found it easier to replace than clean in the past. If you do remove to clean it, be carefull not to pull the plunger out of the valve..Otherwise it may need recalibrating to the car by a Renault specialist. Have you done this before? i have but not on a renault i have only done it on a 03 vauxhall astra which was alot easier as it was just behind the engine block.
