56cheffy
I need a new hose and can't for the life of me see how to remove the old one. I assume it is unscrewed anticlockwise from below. I have tried but can't shift it. When I do get it off, do I have to get a new one from Mira as it looks to be different from the standard ones with a thumbturn. I hope that makes sense! Complete-Heat
Its probably seized on with years of limescale. spray the hose fitting at the top with some neat vinegar, then wrap a cloth soaked in vinegar around it for 15 mins. and....left is loose and right is tight.... 56cheffy
Thanks...can I get a new hose from anywhere? It doesn't have the thumb turn to tighten like most seem to have?
zepstox
We've had a Mira sport and another, can't remember the name, but we just used a normal hose, never seen a thumb turn. Agree about the vinegar, penetrates the limescale, softens it and it will loosen eventually.
