plekhanov
That is NOT what I said. You are taking me out of context AGAIN and misrepresenting what I said AGAIN. I said that in my view when BritPat said this s/he was generalising, Karis was talking about labelling people. And I'm asking you who or what is he is generalising from? bogeynose
Apparently, the pope has encouraged all catholics to do penance to help get them out of the chit. Just like the murderous bombers of the Provos IRA could slaughter a dozen people then go to church, say a few hail mary's and everything would be hunky dory. plekhanov
read posts 121 and 162 I not only read 162 I responded to it: The Vatican's own specialist upon paedophile priests is on record as early as 1952 warning that paedophile priests should be thrown out the church not left "on duty or wandering from diocese to diocese" he was sadly ignored by the Vatican which went on to facilitate the rape of children for decades. Do you think the Vatican in 1952 was under the sway of political correctness? You know the same Vatican which even today describes homosexuality as "evil". The recent major Irish Government report into abuse of children in the care of the Catholic Church dealt with cases from as early as 1914. Are you really trying to argue that Catholic Orphanages in Ireland in 1914 were influenced by political correctness in the slightest? Far from being an "inevitable consequence of PC" the Catholic Church's facilitation of the rape of children precedes PC and is the work of one of the major originations in the opposed to "PC". In fact it is in a large part because of the victories of "the PC brigade" in weakening the power of the Catholic Church that it is no longer able to silence victims and completely muzzle the authorities. Neither of the posts you specify explain how "the PC Brigade" can be in any way to blame for actions which precede "Political Correctness" and were carried out by a vigorously anti-PC orginisation. So once again I ask you: Please do explain how "the PC brigade" are in any way shape or from responsible for the Catholic Church's many decades long international conspiracy to silence victims of paedophile priests, shield paedophile priests from the secular authorities whilst moving paedophile priests into new jobs with access to fresh children to rape? Grahame
Unlike people who call a pedophile a homosexual? If it is male on male that is what it is. A homosexual paedophile.
plekhanov
I wasn't involved in the conversation. However my view is that the PC brigade should call a spade a spade. But they do, at least all such as myself who get accused of being in the PC brigade do, we have no problem calling priests who rape children "paedophiles", the Catholic Church and you however seem to want to call them "gay" hence the existence of this thread. Nor do "the PC brigade" calling a spade a spade when it comes to your whining that marital rape is a crime, saying rape victims "want it", blaming the victims of the Soham murders.... by pointing out that you are a deeply disturbed and disturbing individual with extremely messed up attitudes to sex.
