Flippin' eck! Massive thanks to you lot for braving the wet weather last month to witness an absolute belter of a show with EVIL NINE. Every brain-dead zombie played their part jackin' it 'Thriller-style' in what was definitely our most epic chapter to date. The dancefloor was rammed until the bitter end. It was a most "eggs-cellent" effort by everyone indeed.

Now then, when you think of Easter, you tend to think of cute little bunnies and eggs made of chocolate, right? Wrong. We think of it as a period to up the the ante as we welcome arguably one of the best producers in British dance music history for the last 15 years. We proudly welcome MJ COLE to join us at the SUCKERRRRPUNCH!

MJ COLE is a man who handed delicious treats like the massive anthem ‘Sincere’ in ‘98, an era-defining single that was both one of the biggest influences on 21st century British music, and an over-ground smash - who hasn't heard Nero's remix? Cole went on to sign to Giles Peterson’s Talkin’ Loud label, where he put out Sincere the album; one of – if not the – defining garage full-length, and one that spawned the massive single ‘Crazy Love’. It was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.

Recent years for Cole have seen him maintain a hectic DJ schedule, playing at all the major forward-thinking raves. His recent tracks are favoured by the likes of Zinc and Sinden, and he’s been working with vocalist Digga and Toddla T’s man MC Serocee as well as UKG badman, and former Suckerpunch guest, Zed Bias.

Now, his sets span across the board of garage’s legacy, with a healthy dose of what’s next. Expect a feast of UK Funkee, 2 Step, Future, Dubstep, Crack House and a couple of classics added to the pot for good measure. All in all it's Big energy Bass Music!

We are humbled to have the legend come join us here at Suckerpunch as we get bassy and of course, the Suckerpunch residents will be on hand to provide support in the only fashion they know best. And after last months stonker - this event is set to challenge for 'beset yet'. "Eggs-citing" stuff ey? Well...what are you waiting for? Go grab your ticket!
