Bedders
It's a possibility if the main two keep coming out with their predictable drivel! Gordon Brown is like a stuck record who favours illegal immigrants & benefit scroungers & Cameron is hated for being silver spoon & a possible Thatcher clone! Clegg...why not? 2 debates to go Nick lad...
Greybeard
Our own system, while it is heavily weighted against small parties, has one major advantage in that we usually end up with a Government that actually can do things - not a hamstrung mess. And of course the disadvantage of a govt. here that can actually do things is the hamstrung mess they have made of the economy The difference of course is that German politicians in spite of ideological divides still manage to hang on to the idea of serving the country and the people even in a coalition govt., whereas the majority UK politicians seem interested only in serving themselves. He certainly showed a great regard for serving the people, didn't he?

HeadingNorth
Has he made a bad job of serving his country ? He has never cared two hoots about serving his country. The only thing he ever cared about was going on foreign-policy junkets, and he was willing to support anything from far-Right to far-Left depending on who would give them to him. atticus
Its now odds on for a hung parliament with the bookies. The tories have drifted out from something like 1/8 to 7/4 in the last month. Brown has never been popular ,but it looks like all the spin has caught up with Cameron and he's blown it big time.My guess : after the election we could see the back of both of them as in fighting erupts in both parties and their leaderships are challenged. andyofborg
Or what about the mad mayor of London for the tories, believe it or not he's the 2nd favourite i'd forgotten about boris, he's not an mp anymore so it would be hard for him to be leader until his mayoral term ends. Sausage Dog
Funny how all the usual Tory suspects on here have gone deafly quiet all of a sudden. Looks like posh-boy is in for a disappointment, doesn't it?
