Chesterfield Royal Hospital is a disgrace to the NHS

Recommended Posts

I am absolutely livid i went into the hospital on my way back from work about an hour ago to get some tubes for my hearing aid only to be told that they didn't have any and that it was a specialist thing.

Which i know is a complete load of ******** because i have been before late on and picked some up i tried to explain this to the women on the desk but she was having none of it so that was an 18 mile round trip for nothing:rant: i will now have to mess around going to a hospital in sheffield early in the morning.

I am absolutely fuming because i can hardly hear a thing without my hearing aid:( it's like living in a world of silence, not that the arrogant unhelpful women on the desk at CRH would no:rant:.

I am never going to use this pathetic excuse for a hospital again this is one of many problems i have had with CRH over the years it is the worst hospital i have ever been too:mad:.

End of Rant!

If as you say, you've had loads of problems with this hospital before (in whatever ways), wouldn't you take basic steps to be proactive and ring to check first so they couldn't mess you about?

Also, and I don't know how you'll take this, did the tone of your post come across in the way you spoke to her? If it did, that might not have helped.

I used to deliver blood there. It seems okay to me.. Seems fairly clean and the nurses and A & E staff are nice. Although I did get told off once for parking in an emergency vehicles bay.. Me in my blood car with blue lights and emergency splattered all over it :(

So your one visit makes the whole hospital the same does it?

And by the way we know what being deaf means, no need to spell it out.
