upholder Posted November 11, 2003 Share Posted November 11, 2003 I have had flu only twice in my life and both times it reulted in 3 days in bed, no food just water. It really does knock you for six and takes a few weeks to recover. As you get older it effects you far more and can be very serious hence the flu jabs for the elderly.
