Isn't it time that the EU stepped in over the French rail strike?

Recommended Posts

As has been seen with strikes by people like the rail unions and BA staff in this country, unions are happy to cause the maximum inconvenience to innocent members of the public and cause damage to the country's economy in order to further their aims.

Hopefully one day politicians will wake up and act to stop this madness. Thatcher stood up to the miners. If we have to be part of Europe, we need Europe to appoint leaders with a backbone to do the same.

Blackmail is not a negotiation, it's a criminal offence.
blackmail might be a criminal offence going on strike legally isnt . morally it might be wrong doing it at a time like this but if it helps their cause and they get what they want job done:thumbsup:

Reminds me of when grave diggers & binmen went out during the 70s. Puts pressure on for their demands but morally??

Our politicians are elected or appointed to represent the interests of the entire population. I find it wrong that a few folk with an ability to stop a transport network have the power to disrupt peoples lives.

One day the population will wake up and there will be a backlash.
