The sponsorship he raises will go towards enabling young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to realise their true potential through reflecting on and learning from adventurous experiences in the wild. So, to help him with this, on 19th April we are hosting a fundraising night at SOYO. The Monday night live music will be on as usual but the other room will be open for games where (for a small fee) you can play games and win prizes! LIVE ACTS The Gentlemen Sarah Mac Ian Britt PLUS an un-billed special act!! Hey Sholay DJs, Live Art & Stalls! The plan so far: Wii sports game (game yet to be decided): Pay £1 to play a game on the Wii. The overall highest score of the night will win a prize. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Rowing/cycling challenge: Dependant on the equipment we can get hold of for the night. Pay £1 to row or cycle for 1 minute. The person/people who rows/cycles the futhest will win a prize. Sing Star!! Two people/teams (£1 each) compete on sing star (song choice up to the players) For those of you who have not played sing star, it scores you as you play. The winner gets a lucky dip. The looser pays £2. And also a cake sale! It's free entry plus drinks offers at the bar. Live music in the main room! Please come along to support everyone involved and help raise some money!
