vican8
I've worked for a company for 10 years, 6 years full-time 4 part-time. My redundo pay has been calculated as 10 years at my part-time wage. Is this correct? I'm not on Statutory Redundo, I get 2 weeks x years of service.
dink
Were you part time, then offered Full time contract?
vican8
I started full-time for 6 years then returned part-time after maternity leave. My contract has never changed only my hours.
menz
I believe this is correct.. A friend of mine was in the same situation and all her redundancy was calculated at the part time rate. She checked all of this out with CAB and is was correct
HeadingNorth
It should be calculated on your current salary; so, sadly, if you are now part-time then this will be correct.
harvey19
I worked 35 years full time and 1 year part ime . My redundancy pay was calculated on the 1 years part time pay. Do not be confused by the way a pension is worked out . This uses the full time salary for the post even though you may work part time but the number of years is reduced to compensate, A discressionary amount can be paid on top of the statuary redundancy pay and this can award you a total sum of 2.2 x the statutary sum. bogeynose
If I remember correctly, the Corus redundo was based on the best 13 weeks over the last 12 months.
