They've spent their whole lives with their heads in the clouds praying for something to happen and begging for eternal life[selfishness]. 26 working class atheist would be a better proposition, at least they understand the pressures of life. Nick is polite and amicable but he is quite strait about it, he does not believe there is a 'caring' God. Elton John goes to churchly functions, but he would ban organised religion. Politicians usually tie themselves in knots defensively trying to be all things to all people, so as not to risk alienating any group. He didn't. Baz1 Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 I think as long as Clegg is honest and true to his promises-(which unfortunately many politicians are not) then it matters not what he believes in. There are many leaders who openly believe in a Deity, but have lied, cheated,stolen,murdered(direct or indirect) etc .
