chem1st
A couple I knew had a black and white cocker spaniel. If one of the drawers in the bedroom dresser was left open he'd nick some underwear in a second run dowstairs and tear around the back yard with the item in his mouth I can picture it with a thong over its face

*Peaches*
My breed would never retrieve stuff, their attitude - if you want a dog that does tricks you shoulda bought a Poodle
Tess
My lab will carry a stick miles around the countryside, and when we try and throw it for him we often have to wrestle it out of his mouth. However, my previous dog, a lab beagle cross just wasn't interested whatsoever. Your right though, they do look ever so pleased with themselves when they find a proper sized stick! EmilyM
I once saw a dog carrying its own lead, which I thought was really cute. My dog isn't bothered about retrieving stuff or carrying sticks even though he's part labrador. He does have a thing about socks (my fault really).
