Labours contept for democracy.

Harriet Harman let slip that Labour's planned electoral reforms - if they get re-elected will mean the BNP will need 50%+ of the vote to be elected. Clearly the motivation for electoral reform is to exclude the BNP from Westminster and deny their voters a voice.

What was wrong with my maths in the OP of the other thread then eh?

You were trying to say how Sheffield's non-white population would continue to increase into the future based on a % of how it has increased over the last few years, which is just plain non-sense.

Mathematically that would prove if the BNP got 2 votes in one election, 26 elections into the future it would get 67 million votes.

Not going to happen is it?

But thats not what im saying is it...why do you keep saying that it is?

Im saying that the percentage has nearly doubled in less than ten years...and im asking what is stoping it doubling again over the next ten years.

Tougher immigration controls, ageing population, reduced birth rates as they assimilate, people returning home to eastern europe as the EU free trade area stimulates their economies etc. all indicate that the immigration levels in the last 10 years are unlikely to be sustained.
