bizzle
Link here .......... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1267756/Sex-offenders-win-right-challenge-length-time-remain-register.html Thanks Lord Phillips for urinating on every victim that has been abused by one of these vile creatures. Why does it appear that whenever your read about crimes in the UK the perpertrators seem to have more rights than the victim. How can they prove they are no longer a threat to the public? Sure they can debate/argue for as much as they want to. How much of it is actual truth & not dangerous lies to win & then commit again?

chem1st
Yet people arrested for an offence for which the charges are subsequently dropped have their details kept on register for life regardless, which show up on SA1, enhanced CRB checks and the like! happyhippy
Where does it actually say that? Your post makes no sense at all. The article is incredibly nonsensical itself from the second sentence anyway.
bizzle
You seem supprised:confused: Honestly, I am. Logically you would think that their rights would be taken away once they have committed their crime. Yet they seem to be protected more & more. The first case of the the 18 year old who was convcited of his crime when he was 11!! Sentenced for 30months, placed on the register for life but then appealed because of the restrictions that he was unable to go on a holiday abroad & successful. Why do I pay my taxes for people like him for?
bizzle
Where does it actually say that? Your post makes no sense at all. The article is incredibly nonsensical itself from the second sentence anyway. It says they could & two cases have been successful so far. That is two many in my opinion. I did put in the title ARE able to.

mikmouse
Our country's law protects animals better than children. Thats because animals can be bought and sold so are more valuable than children,
HeadingNorth
How can they prove they are no longer a threat to the public? Many of the people on the sex offenders' register were never a threat to the public in the first place. That's rather the point of this judgment. GordonBennet
Link here .......... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1267756/Sex-offenders-win-right-challenge-length-time-remain-register.html Thanks Lord Phillips for urinating on every victim that has been abused by one of these vile creatures. Sure they can debate/argue for as much as they want to. How much of it is actual truth & not dangerous lies to win & then commit again? When you've finished foaming at the mouth, you might like to do a bit of research as to what offences cause people to be put on the sex offender's register. Not all of them are paedophiles and rapists, some people have been put on there for utterly trivial incidents. A couple of examples - a driving instructor got put on the register for harmlessly patted a woman's thigh. http://news.scotsman.com/scotland/Driving-instructor-is-put-on.6069725.jp And a man who filmed himself having consensual sex with lovers was put on the register for not telling them they were being filmed! http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23812209-bbc-man-who-secretly-filmed-lovers-is-jailed.do Bearing this in mind it's common sense that anyone put on the sex offender's register should have the right to challenge the judgement. I wonder if the OP would feel differently if he were put on the register for a minor incident?
